Wily isn't in the Zero series. The antagonist is Dr. Weil, who's name is only similar.

Oh, and Darkman isn't a recolor, he's completely custom. XP

No... he did not. Wily is not Weil. You're just digging yourself deeper.

Anyway, the sprites look good, but the shading on Protoman has definitely got to be fixed. Looks way too much like pillow-shading to me.

JL, Dr. Weil is not Dr. Wily. The proof is in the fact that his Japanese name is Vile, and Wily's is the same as it is in the US. I don't know why they named him Weil in the US. Go ask capcom.

That, and MMZ styled means that the bittage and size matches MMZ sprites, not the "style" of their armor.

No he's not. Yeah, It confuses me too, but that's what they named him.

(Unless Vile from MMX was a young Dr. Vile pretending to be a reploid.... >.>)

What I'm about to say is purely speculation, but, I think Weil is pronounced "Vile" (might explain the Japanese version being different...), as though he's German or something... Which might be possible, seeing as he's somewhat similar to Adolf, what with the ill planned world domination scheme...

Once again, this is one person's opinion, it does not represent the views of the Capcom label or its subsidiaries (hehehe...).
