I kinda have a question though (I don't know how familiar anyone is to the concept, though.):
~Is spriting something along the lines of dolling?
{Dolling: Taking a pre-made "base" and creating hair, fashion, and other items to add to the creation.}
^(My horrible definition. I appoligize for spelling errors)
"Now I recolor it and add what necessary."
"I add the clothes and shade them..."
Some random idiot's gonna try and sprite you. You know what? You didn't do a step-by-step thing, therefore they'll not know what to add to the sprite. And they'll... Ugh. Make a one-shade recolor. Same with the clothes: One shade. Perhaps two. And maybe the shading'll be in random places...
Imagine: A one-tone recolor. Rouge's ears on his nose. Bat wings on his hands. Clothes that defy gravity and light.
You need to make a step-by-step guide. You know... Replace the lightest shade on the sprite with the lightest shade on your pallete. Replace the middle shade...
