isn't that cheating by resizing so you have more space to make small detail...cause that isn't the normal sprite size

1) It is not a cheating. This is even harder to make, than an original size sprites.
2)In my comix I use this size sprites...so...for me it's not a problem....
3) No one is forbidden you to do this...

Geeez...no reason...Just don't want too....If you don't like then watch the sprite number 2 that you can resize to normal size.
